Varnyfest
This Summer The Moon & Sixpence & Friends presents Varnyfest #1!
A one day event held at Varnycrooks Organic farm with music stages, family areas and several food and drink vendors selling local produce. Set in between stunning views of the Solway Coast and the Fells of the Lake District.
Varnyfest will be a local community based project with an emphasis on local and original music, alongside ethical and sustainable hospitality.
Your ticket price will include travel to and from Cockermouth Town centre to the festival site via shuttle bus which will run in the morning and then again at the end.

Great Beer Festival atmosphere both inside our huge marquee and outside on the wonderful green, green grass of Davidson Park, the home of Keswick Rugby Club, surely one of the most scenic rugby grounds in the country, under the watchful gaze of Skiddaw, the 4th highest mountain in England.
Most of all you, our wonderful Keswick Beer Festival fans and all our welcoming, warm and friendly KBF Festival volunteers who will help you have a great time.
The Keswick Beer Festival is located in Keswick in the heart of the North Lakes in the Lake District National Park. As well as the Beer Festival, Keswick offers a great choice of places to stay, shopping, good restaurants and a great base from which to explore The Lakes e.g. take a Lake Cruise on Derwentwater or a visit one of our many tourist attractions.

This year we’ve partnered with our good friends at Low Hall The Lakes to launch our first beer festival and it’s one not to be missed!
North West Beer Fest is a celebration of the best of craft beer in our region.

Manchester Craft Brew Festival 2024
We're beyond excited that Crooked River will be at Manchester Craft Brew Festival on 12-13th April and we hope some of you lovely humans will join us too.
Tickets include entry, souvenir glass, festival programme, meet the brewers and five hours of unlimited craft beer from Cloudwater Brew Co, Siren Craft Brew, Copper Beech Brewing Company, Bianca Road Brew Co and Neighbourhood Brew Co and us!

Whitehaven Christmas Market
A RANGE of festivities is on offer at Whitehaven Market this Christmas, with a series of events for traders and visitors alike.
Copeland Borough Council is inviting stallholders and shop owners to set out their wares at Christmas markets held on Saturday, December 8 and 15, for the discounted rate of £12 per day (usual price £18).
Visitors will be able to indulge in a warming winter treat from one of the many stalls on offer, while browsing the festive fancies. Children are in for a special treat as Father Christmas will be making his way to town on both dates.

Amblefest
After the success of last year’s event we are hosting AmbleFest again this year. We learnt a lot last year and are hoping to go bigger and better this time.
There will be more than 40 different craft beers from all over the country served across 3 day, Friday the 29th to Sunday the 1st of October.
Taste Cumbria
Our beers will be pouring at the main event bar at Memorial Gardens hosted by our good friends Tractor Shed Brewing alongside their amazing beers.
The event will have everything you’ve come to expect from Taste Cumbria – big producers’ markets, experts to chat to, food and drink to eat on the spot, children’s entertainment, live music and more.
Cockermouth Cricket Club 200 Year Anniversary
Here We Go!!
To Celebrate our 200th Year as a Cricket Club we are holding a Legends vs Academy match on Bank Holiday Sunday - 27th of August!
The day will consist of club legends, past and present come up against the future generation of the club (3pm match start. Alongside music and a bbq.. and not to forget the bar will be open all day!
It would be amazing to see as many people down as possible who are or were connected to the club in anyway, whether that be players, supporters, coaches, parents… you name it. The club wouldn’t be celebrating such a remarkable milestone if it wasn’t for all of you.
We can’t wait to celebrate our 200th year, we hope to see you down there.
Brewdog: Up and Coming Fest
We have been shortlisted by Brewdog to feature at this years Up and Coming Fest alongside 15 other emerging UK breweries.
Our Pacific Ale and DDH Pale will be pouring at Brewdog bars across the country between 23rd August to 6th September.
Crooked River Social #2
We had so much fun at the last CRB Social, we've decided to go for round two!
Join us on Friday 4th August (5pm-11pm) at Cockermouth Cricket Club for after-work drinks supplied by Crooked River and guest beers from local legends Tractor Shed Brewing & Lakes Brew Co.
Food from the Fells (Kendal) will join us this time to cook up the BEST street food, from Korean to Mexican, Indian & Vegetarian.
We're stoked to have Dale Stephenson (Over Yonder Acoustic) play for us followed by a hip-hop, reggae & soul DJ set from CRB Co-Founder Phil Scholey.

Workington Zebras Beer & Gin Festival
The Zebra's Beer Festival is back by popular demand!
Join us at the club from 14th - 16th of July for a weekend of top entertainment and a selection of amazing beer gin from local suppliers.
On Friday we'll be entertained by Sneaky Finch, Chelsea Reynolds, Kin Acoustic , withThe Reets on Saturday and Collision on Sunday.

Thirsty people of West Cumbria, we’re putting on our first social and it’s gonna be a hoot!
We’ll be serving up five Crooked River beers on tap along with guest beer from our friends over at Gan Yam Brew Co (Kendal).
Food will be provided from the best pizza guys we know; Backyard Pizzaiolo who serve up delicious Neapolitan style pizza…
..and we’ve got music from our main man Si Mattinson (SiZe) take us on a world music adventure curating the best hip hop, funk, soul, ska and reggae.
Come rain or shine, we’ll make sure you kick off the weekend with a bang.
Boot Beer Festival
Planning is already under way here at Brook House Inn. Music will be announced shortly.
Get your accomodation booked! As of writing all campsites in the area still have room but we all know this can change rapidly.
Brook House Inn will be coordinating with them directly to find out how much room remains so we can fit as many of you lovely people as we can.
Some social media posts will be sent out in the near future with some more information. This should be bigger and better than ever! They still have a few rooms available here at Brook house for all three nights.

Beer Launch Party and Exhibition
Join us in celebration of the amazing and talented students from the University of Cumbria who have designed the labels for our upcoming series of limited edition beers. At this event we will launch the first of these beers with their published artwork; a Nelson Sauvin Pils plus other Crooked River beers.
The event will include an exhibition of the students artwork, along with all the goodness you’d expect from the Print Yard - amazing food, DJs and good vibes.
INstitute of arts: Design exhibition
The Institute of Arts, University of Cumbria will be hosting an exhibition to present the artwork for the students end of year submissions. Crooked River Brewing Co have submitted a live brief for the students to design our limited edition beers which will be presented at this event.
